We are the only full-service blind center located in San Jose providing instructional, rehabilitative, therapeutic and recreational services for the blind and visually impaired adult community to increase the confidence, independance and quality of life of this community.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
SCVBC is located at 101 North Bascom Avenue in San Jose CA. We provide services at our Center as well as in-home services. Please call for more information.
Provide detailed directions to your location
We are located at 101 North Bascom Avenue mid-block between San Carlos and Naglee Avenue in San Jose CA. Our facility is well signed at the end of our driveway. Our building sets back away from the street. You may also use VTA bus lines 61, 62 and 23. We are approximately 10 minutes from the Diridon Train Station in San Jose.
What type of payments do you accept?
Most of our services are free. We do accept cash, check, and all major credit cards.

Our primary area of coverage is Santa Clara County and the South Bay. It is our policy to never turn anyone away.
